Miki Agrawal says that she is a social entrepreneur who has started and run a lot of businesses that have been successful. She is absolutely accurate!
Miki co-founded THINX, a high-tech brand of period-proof underwear, and led it, as CEO, to a valuation of more than $150 million and a spot on Fast Company’s 2017 list of the Most Innovative Companies, all while making periods more comfortable for tens of millions of women. She also helped start Icon, a line of high-tech underwear for women that helps them deal with small bladder leaks.
Miki Agrawal came up with the farm-to-table, alternative pizza concept WILD restaurant, which currently has one location in Guatemala, three locations in New York City and more to come soon. WILD has received a bevy of praise from critics.
Miki most recently started a company called TUSHY, which is changing the way Americans use toilets, with a modern, affordable, and stylish bidet attachment that makes people healthier and cleaner. The bidet attachment also helps the environment by reducing the amount of toilet paper people use. Always thinking of how she can give back, through their work with Samagra, Miki Agrawal and her team are also helping to solve the global sanitation crisis by making sure that poor communities in India have clean toilets.
